The Aleena Naylor show at 1000 today featured an interview with members of the BCF Strutt School Group about the future of the building. Statements were also provided by Derbyshire County Council and Amber Valley Borough Council.

After the showing a showing of ‘Samuel Slater, Hero or Traitor’ by Maypole Productions of Milford, there was another chance to look around the School, which is due to close at the end of this academic year.

The open day held at Herbert Strutt School in Belper on Saturday 8th September seems to have been quite a success with at least 90 people coming to have a look round.
